We first hired Martin for a full refurbishment of a penthouse apartment in Marylebone in 2014. The quality of workmanship was exceptional and so when we did a full refurbishment of a terraced house in Kensington in 2018/2019, it was an easy decision to engage him and his team again. This was a complicated and very high specification job and we are very pleased with the results. Martin's men have worked with him for many years so we knew the workers well and it was comforting to see all the familiar faces again. The workmen were always courteous and trustworthy and they found great solutions for all problems we uncovered during the project – this was a 200 year old house so there were many surprises. We chose Preisler Construction for our single storey extension project plus the refurbishment of the entire ground floor of our Edwardian house in Muswell Hill. We were impressed by Martin's grasp of our brief and his superb communication. During the first few weeks of the project it was clear to us that his company did not do shortcuts and things were done to an exacting high standard. He and his team certainly did deliver what we wanted. Their uncompromising attention to the smallest detail resulted in a high quality finish that is not that common with your average domestic builds. The feedback we often get is how high spec and crisp the finish of our house is and how solid and substantial it all feels whilst retaining the character of the building. What we also did appreciate is Martin is always just a phone call away and he aims to respond to your email within 24 hours but usually less. Whatever your concerns or questions as a client, he is there to listen or resolve! His guys are all professionals and have years of experience, we just trusted them. We appreciated that they kept the site tidy and well organised at the end of each day. Overall, we will not hesitate to hire Martin again if we ever do another renovation project and cannot recommend him and his team more highly. Martin and his team made an excellent job of my loft conversion. The build involved an entire new roof and complete renovation of the interior on two floors, including all carpentry, plumbing, electrics and decorating. The workmanship was superb and Martin made every effort to ensure that the build was finished as quickly as possible. Unexpected extra work was negotiated promptly and reasonably.
